John says: Glasgow holds "My" Record for
the greatest number of "home" tracks for one city. London is
probably Glasgow's only rival for this record but it is debatable
as many Glasgow/London tracks may be locations in their own right.
I am not able to say how many of Glasgow's tracks should bear the
name Glasgow Speedway. |

An incredible restoration on this machine.
Harley Davidson machines ruled throughout the 1920's until British
makes Douglas and Rudge took up the challenge in the late 1920s. |

The main British opposition to the
American Harley Davidsons. British bikes took over and with
the all-British JAP coming in around 1931 British machines ruled the
speedway world until the late 1960s |
