Gordon Leith Says: Hi John, I came across your website when I was trying to remember the years that  I took pictures for the Glasgow Tigers. The pictures that particularly sparked my memories were the two below. I was hoping to find some information on Steve Lawson and Martin McKinna that would confirm the year they were taken. I was amazed to find the very pictures on your website. I would say straight away, I don’t have any problem with them being there. I was just amazed that  these and so many more of my pictures were there. I believe most, if not all of the pictures actually taken at Craighead Park between 1984 and 1986 were taken by me. I took photographs at Craighead park for inclusion in the Tigers  team programme. A friend of mine ( Ron Young) developed them in his home darkroom and we gave them to the person producing the programme. I wondered if Dave Allen was the person who produced the programme. He certainly seems to have a lot of information relating to the pictures, so I’m guessing he was there at the time. I have attached a copy of a version of my original Steve Lawson / Jim Beaton picture. I would be thrilled if I could be credited as photographer on these pictures. Regards  Gordon Leith

Scottish Junior League 1982
Typical Scottish Junior League race card from a Glasgow Tiger Cubs v Longstone Lions fixture on Sunday 18th July 1982.  This fixture was raced in the second half of the Glasgow Tigers v Peterborough Panthers National League match. Longstone Lions were one of two SJL teams affiliated to Edinburgh Monarchs in 1982, Young Edinburgh being the other.
