The Tower Ground New Brighton, The
Wirral, Cheshire. |
The Tower Ground speedway operated 1933-1935. The complex
was victorian and took it's name from a huge tower 567 feet high
which was higher than the Blackpool tower. The meetings are
described as "open" so there was no team as such. Oliver
Hart took his first rides on the 1930s at the track. |
