Cambridge Speedway

I have included Cambridge in the A-Z after receiving some newspaper cuttings which I have reproduced below.  The clippings are courtesy of Roger Beaman.  All I know about Cambridge's attempt to stage speedway is that the track was within the Greyhound Stadium.

It is a pity that the images are so small.  I have been unable to enlarge them much but my thanks to Roger Beaman for sending them in.  I looked for Cambridge Speedway in Robert Bamford's excellent "Homes of British Speedway" but couldn't find an entry.  If you can supply information I would be happy to hear from you John
