sent me the following cards. It is interesting that the speedway
card is attached to a cricket card. I believe many general sports
card sets were provided for collectors who cut the speedway cards away
from the other sports but with the following scans we can see what the
makers had in mind
The Buster Frogley card is already in my
complete set of "Adventure" cards. Joining cards for different
sports must have been a common practice see the scans below

The value of cigarette cards on resale now is
not something I know anything about, but I imagine cards intact, as they
were provided by the issuing company would possibly be more valuable as
most of our grandparents would have taken a pair of scissors to the card
strips making cards like the above, rarer and possibly more collectible.
