"Speed" Cards

David Pipe says: These are not cigarette or trade cards but come from a playing card game called “Speed” issued by a firm called Pepys around 1954. There are 6 speedway riders featured in the set – the other cards comprise trains, aircraft, ships and racing cars. There is no text on the reverse of the cards simply the “Speed” and “Pepys” graphics.
I thought that you might like to include them in your website as I think that they are great action graphics of the period. I have taken out the numbers which were on each card at the top and bottom.
