John Hyam says: Hello John: Re speedway riders who have reached 90 years. The last I heard was that Jimmy Gibb (West Ham 1938 and 1939) and Wimbledon(1949 and 1951 - also at Shelbourne Park, Dublin, in 1951) is still alive in Canada aged 102 years.  Most of Jimmy's career from about 1934 was in the USA. He retired in 1952. Also, he was a reserve for the 1938 World Championship. I am not sure if he was in the 1939 qualifiers for the never-run meeting.
